I don't know how constructive this critique is going to be, because there's really nothing that I dislike about this painting. I think it's very cool how you repeated the circle shape in three different ways (spiral, sphere, and ray). Clever.
What really gets me is the layering. It keeps the piece from looking too flat. It also creates a sense of depth. It ALSO adds more visual interest because of the variety of scale, and that was the reason that I zoomed in on the image to get a closer look.
Personally, I love when people play with a primary color scheme. Did you notice how you've got a repetition of 3s going on? Three primary colors, three kinds of circle, three spiral shapes. The painting is almost three times as long as it is wide. Also, it takes three points to make a circle (yay geometry). Maybe I'm just a conspiracy theorist, haha.
Anyway, I chose to critique this piece because successful nonobjective paintings make me happy. Good work!
